just upgraded from Win 7 to win 10 .. I had just updated to Windows 10 and could no longer email pdf from QuickBooks 2012. You’ll be more likely run into this with QuickBooks 2011 or later, which use the Microsoft XPS driver. It is a little messy, as it leaves some files on your desktop, but that isn't too big of a deal.
