FWIW I don't see this problem and I use STARTTLS with SMTP and IMAP (and Jabber) all the time. I did some research and found recommendations of putting the line: define(`confENVDEF', `-D_FFR_DEAL_WITH_ERROR_SSL') in my M4 file, but upon doing that and rebuilding/restarting, I still get the log entries.
