Quicktime Error 47 Invalid Url 2011
The larger HD quality movie trailers refuse to launch the Quicktime player and stream the trailers.BTW, YouTube typically has most new movie trailers uploaded in HD quality, either from the movie and entering: http://koastalcams.com:1935/live/mp4:Pismo+Beach.stream/playlist.m3u8 However, QuickTime on Windows displays the following error after entering the same URL: "Error 47: Invalid URL. If you kill quicktime from the task manager, you can open the player manually. I first restarted my computer, since I have just exited my game. I click the link to download/stream a 1080p HD-quality movie trailer. You may now continue to proceed with installing QuickTime.

So until Apple gets its act together, I recommend NOT upgrading to Windows 7 unless QuickTime is not important to you.

There is an Anevia version of VLC that used to play but it does not support version 2 of the HLS header/tag.

Open QuickTime installer but do not install the software yet. When I click watch now it plays fine in 480p in Quicktime 7.
