Sadly it's still the same error. On a previous occasion I had found a solution (can't find the website now) by renaming 'libiconv-2.dll' found in the gstreamer/bin folder. Behnel said to follow the instructions about debugging as found on their userguide [ http://docs.cython.org/src/userguide/debugging.html ] to find the problem. All commits of Cython here on github should be tested and working, therefore all builds in their PPA have the same stability.
