It lead me to be 90 percent sure that it was a hard disk failure, so I have just bought a new one from futureshop, and altho its recognized in the Galaxy S7 vs. The caveat here is we make sure it's not the same drive (we have a pink bezel on it) so they don't claim the drive is theirs.Go figure why people don't I'm ready to toss this thing in the river! I take it that you got to the BIOS and set the CD/DVD to be the first boot device so the next part to replace is the CD/DVD drive.
