The key that must be pressed to enter the BIOS varies depending on the computer model. I just need to see if i can get a bootable device to work, once i do that i can focus on installing XP again. What worked for me was to disable the LAN boot option.

it says nvidia boot agent 247.0541, whatever that means, but it will not let me boot cd or any media cards. You can also run disk diagnostic utilities too from here! Could not change boot order, ESC would not bring up window, F2 would sometimes bring up setup window but it should no HDD present nor any other drive. I have a Lenovo T43p, fantastic machine untill it failed to boot up, with the same error messages (with some mild variation)as the rest of you have found.
