I downloaded the WD diagnostics, it found a bad spot that SMART had been trying to report. I do have an external hard drive I'm doing full disk image backups too using Vista Ultimate complete backup. WD diagnostics are fine and I'm sure this is not a hard fault on the drive. In here the drives show the reported error as well. More about the author
