This is what threw me off. Microsoft made the product readily available. The system has been working with no problems reported at all, until suddenly I had a blue screen. Sad to say but this problem has kind of put me of RAID 0 :/ Here are my options to pick from: 1.

Dying disk. Do I install this in Windows as any other App or do i have to do the F6 boot method? Ok, it seems to be something transitional. Hopefully that will allow me to use Quicktime again without issues.

That can easily be fixed by running chkdsk, which is the first thing you should have done. I haven't rebooted since testing that Quicktime worked with the newest Intel Matrix Storage update. Anyway: I installed the Intel Matrix Storage Manager which IS compatible with my hardware (even though my hardware was very old - from 2004).
